Open auditions for thse season are now closed. However, you are encouraged to send pre-screen audition materials to us, as we may have mid-season openings in our roster.
To submit a pre-screen audition, please email the following to admin@newvoiceschoir.org

A brief “music biography” highlighting your previous choral experience
A video or audio recording of you singing Danny Boy or Beautiful Dreamer (unaccompanied) - You may choose a comfortable key.

Upon receipt of the pre-screen, you may be invited to an in-person audition consisting of:

Warm-up / vocalization throughout your range
Sing Danny Boy or Beautiful Dreamer (unaccompanied) - You may choose a comfortable key.
A short sight reading excerpt

Successful NEWVoices auditioners generally have previous choral experience, mature vocal tone, and competent music reading abilities. For music reading practice, please see these resources.

Singer Commitments

Singers are encouraged to commit to all rehearsals and concerts in the season.
Singers must attend all scheduled rehearsals. 2 excused absences are permissible. All others must be approved by the Artistic Director.
Rehearsals are Sunday evenings, typically 4-6PM in the Appleton area.
A minimal fee ($60.00) will be required this season for music scores.
Singers are responsible to purchase their own concert attire, either a tuxedo with black shirt and tie, or a black sequined top and a long black skirt.
