This concert is inspired by the musical composition, In the Beginning Was the Word by Rosephanye Powell, based on the text from John 1:1. As you have come to expect, we will introduce you to new Christmas works (including the first composition from the SwanSongS commissioning project), as well as familiar carols, sacred holiday classics, audience sing-alongs, and grand organ settings. Our traditional candle-lit closing reminds us of the joy and peace of the season.
